{"id":1072,"date":"2019-01-30T12:26:43","date_gmt":"2019-01-30T12:26:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/commodityconversations.com\/wordpress2\/?p=1072"},"modified":"2019-01-30T12:21:33","modified_gmt":"2019-01-30T12:21:33","slug":"agricensus-report-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/commodityconversations.com\/wordpress2\/2019\/01\/30\/agricensus-report-8\/","title":{"rendered":"AgriCensus Report"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Russia\u2019s 2019\/20 wheat production forecast at 67m mt: minister<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Russia\u2019s 2019\/20 wheat production will come in at around 67 million \nmt at its current trajectory, which would be a fall of about 4% from \nlast year\u2019s output, the country\u2019s agriculture minister said in a meeting\n Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe will probably have about 108-110 million mt (of grain) \u2026 We plan \nto collect around 67 million mt of wheat,\u201d Minister of Agriculture, \nDmitry Patrushev, told President Vladimir Putin in a meeting transcript \nreleased by the Kremlin on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked about the target for the 2018\/19 season\u2019s exports, \nPatrushev estimated total grain exports of 42 million mt with wheat \ncontributing 36 million mt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patrushev stressed the goal of becoming an exporter of \u201chigh quality wheat\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting comes on the same day Russia\u2019s agriculture ministry was \ndue to publish its weekly grain export figures, although it was yet to \npublish at the time of writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pace of wheat exports this marketing year has been controversial,\n with the government looking at informal ways of slowing sales that have\n raced ahead despite output falling by about 20% year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most recent data, published a week ago, put wheat exports 11% higher year-on-year at 25.3 million mt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/CAmRH3I55pt2UA9QGg6UVM5QkLe6Q7KWOsJvtn9Fo0SGUiuxOusVI3ZfbTXF1VfVuThRomI1eVgaN053wghykNTT36pA_Soe8AkEg8T5u0USwzkJGVrmnYG2z7V_j_fRl2E2Wzbc\" alt=\"This image has an empty alt attribute;
