{"id":1520,"date":"2019-06-19T15:31:07","date_gmt":"2019-06-19T15:31:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/commodityconversations.com\/wordpress2\/?p=1520"},"modified":"2019-06-19T15:31:07","modified_gmt":"2019-06-19T15:31:07","slug":"agricensus-report-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/commodityconversations.com\/wordpress2\/2019\/06\/19\/agricensus-report-27\/","title":{"rendered":"AgriCensus Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"news-list-title\">China July soybean imports to surge 19% YoY: analysts<\/h3>\r\n<div class=\"news-view-body\">\r\n\r\n<p>China\u2019s soybean imports in July 2019 are expected to rise almost 20% compared with the same month in 2018 as shipments from Argentina are expected to recover, polled data from China-based market sources showed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Agricensus surveyed eight market sources in China that gave a range of between 8.5-10 million mt with an average estimate of 9.54 million mt.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Of that, 1.5 million mt is expected to come from the US and the same figure from Argentina.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>In July 2018, China imported 8.01 million mt of soybeans with just under 300,000 mt coming from Argentina.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>July imports in 2019 are also expected to jump more than 10% compared to the June estimate.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Analysts and traders expect China\u2019s June imports to reach an average of 8.63 million mt, up more than 17% on the 7.36 million mt the country imported in May, but down marginally on the 8.7 million mt imported in June 2018.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The range for June import estimates was between 7 million mt and 10 million mt.<\/p>\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/CAmRH3I55pt2UA9QGg6UVM5QkLe6Q7KWOsJvtn9Fo0SGUiuxOusVI3ZfbTXF1VfVuThRomI1eVgaN053wghykNTT36pA_Soe8AkEg8T5u0USwzkJGVrmnYG2z7V_j_fRl2E2Wzbc\" alt=\"This image has an empty alt attribute;
